RoutinePass Privacy Policy

Hi! I’m Steven, the solo developer behind RoutinePass.

RoutinePass helps you follow through on rehab or mobility Exercises you already know by combining personal Routines, guided Sessions, reminders and optional Screen Time app blocking.

I value simplicity and privacy. This policy explains what data RoutinePass handles, where it is stored and what choices you have.

1. Information you add to RoutinePass

When you use RoutinePass, you may add:

• Routine and Exercise names
• Exercise videos
• Exercise settings and schedules
• Session history
• Notes
• Reminder and app-blocking preferences

This information may include personal health context, depending on what you choose to record.

RoutinePass stores this information locally on your iPhone. RoutinePass does not operate an account system, cloud database or automatic cross-device sync for this content.

Apple may include local app data in an iPhone or iCloud backup, depending on your device and backup settings. Those backups are managed by Apple.

2. Exercise videos and Photos

You can record an Exercise video with the camera or select an existing video using Apple’s system Photos picker.

RoutinePass only receives the video you choose or record. Exercise videos are copied into the app’s local storage and are not uploaded to RoutinePass servers, Mixpanel or RevenueCat.

Camera access is used only when you choose to record a video.

3. Screen Time and selected apps

RoutinePass uses Apple’s Family Controls, Managed Settings and Screen Time frameworks to provide optional app blocking.

When you choose apps, categories or websites:

• Apple represents your selection using protected system tokens.
• The selection is stored locally and shared only between RoutinePass and its Screen Time extensions.
• RoutinePass uses the selection to apply or remove Apple’s system shield.
• The identities of selected apps, categories and websites are not sent to analytics or RoutinePass servers.

Apple controls Screen Time authorisation. You can change or remove this access through your device settings.

4. Notifications

RoutinePass can schedule local notifications when a Session is ready or when a free trial is ending.

These reminders are scheduled on your device. RoutinePass does not operate a push-notification server and does not receive a push-notification token.

You can change notification permission at any time in iOS Settings.

5. Analytics

RoutinePass uses Mixpanel to collect limited product analytics.

This helps me understand:

• Whether onboarding and Routine setup work correctly
• Which general features are used
• Whether scheduled Sessions are started or completed
• How the app performs
• How RoutinePass can be improved

RoutinePass uses a randomly generated installation identifier for analytics. It is not connected to an account, name or email address, but Apple classifies analytics associated with a persistent device-level identifier as linked data.

Analytics may include:

• Product interactions
• Counts, such as the number of Exercises in a Routine
• Controlled Session states, such as completed, partial or skipped
• App environment, app version and analytics schema version
• Subscription and paywall interactions

RoutinePass never sends Mixpanel:

• Routine or Exercise names
• Exercise videos or filenames
• Note text
• Body areas, diagnoses, symptoms or pain descriptions
• Notification content
• Selected app, category or website identities
• Persistent SwiftData or Screen Time identifiers

Automatic Mixpanel event collection and IP-based geolocation are disabled. RoutinePass sends its approved analytics events to Mixpanel’s European endpoint.

Analytics are not used for advertising and do not track you across other apps or websites.

6. Subscriptions and purchases

RoutinePass Pro subscriptions are purchased through Apple’s App Store and managed with RevenueCat.

Apple processes your payment and payment method. RoutinePass does not receive or store your card or bank details.

RevenueCat may process:

• An anonymous app user identifier
• Basic technical device information
• App Store transaction and receipt information
• Subscription status and expiration dates
• Introductory-offer eligibility

This information is used to start, restore and verify RoutinePass Pro access.

7. Support and contact

If you contact me through loopz.be or by email, I may receive:

• Your name, if provided
• Your email address
• The message and other information you choose to send
• Technical information you include when asking for help

This information is used only to reply, investigate the issue and provide support.

Please do not include Exercise videos, detailed medical information or other sensitive information unless it is necessary for your support request.

8. Accounts and information RoutinePass does not request

RoutinePass does not require:

• An account
• Registration
• An email address
• A username
• Your real name

RoutinePass does not collect:

• Precise or approximate location
• Contacts
• Advertising identifiers
• Browsing history
• Data for personalised advertising

RoutinePass does not sell personal information or use it for advertising.

9. Data storage, retention and deletion

Your local RoutinePass data remains on your iPhone until you remove it using available in-app controls or uninstall the app.

Deleting the app removes its local app container from the device. Copies may remain in Apple-managed device backups until those backups expire or are deleted.

Pseudonymous analytics are retained only as long as reasonably necessary to understand product performance, improve RoutinePass and investigate reliability issues.

Subscription information may be retained by Apple and RevenueCat as necessary to provide purchase history, restore purchases, prevent fraud and meet legal obligations.

Support messages are kept only as long as needed to respond, investigate related issues and meet applicable legal obligations.

10. Security

RoutinePass limits off-device processing and keeps personal Routine content on your iPhone.

Where information is sent to service providers, it is transmitted using encrypted connections. Access is limited to the services necessary to provide analytics, subscriptions and support.

No system can guarantee absolute security. Please protect your iPhone with an appropriate passcode, Face ID or Touch ID.

11. Children’s privacy

RoutinePass is not specifically directed at children and does not knowingly request personal information from children.

Exercise videos and other personal content remain on the device unless the person using the device chooses to share them outside RoutinePass.

A parent or guardian should supervise use where appropriate.

12. Legal bases and your GDPR rights

Machtelinckx Consultancy CommV is the data controller for personal data processed through RoutinePass.

Depending on the situation, data is processed because:

• It is necessary to provide the app or a RoutinePass Pro subscription
• You requested a feature or granted a system permission
• It is necessary for legitimate interests such as improving reliability, understanding product use and providing support
• Processing is required to meet a legal obligation

Under the GDPR, you may have the right to:

• Request access to personal data held about you
• Request correction or deletion
• Request restriction of processing
• Object to certain processing
• Request data portability where applicable
• Withdraw consent where processing is based on consent
• Lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority

Most Routine content is stored only on your iPhone and cannot be accessed remotely by me. You can manage that information directly in the app or by deleting the app.

For data processed through Mixpanel or RevenueCat, I may need additional technical information to locate the relevant pseudonymous record.

13. International data transfers

Mixpanel analytics are configured for European data residency.

RevenueCat, Apple and other service providers may process information outside your country. Where required, these transfers are protected using recognised legal safeguards and contractual protections.

14. Changes to this policy

This policy may be updated when RoutinePass, its service providers or legal requirements change.

The “Last updated” date at the top will show when the policy was most recently revised. Material changes will be communicated through the app or website where appropriate.
