Where it comes from

ScoreShare started on the sideline, watching my own kids play. Someone always keeps score in their head, someone always asks "what's the score?" in the family group chat, and whoever answers is looking at their phone instead of the match. I built ScoreShare so one person can keep score properly—and everyone else can simply watch.

What it does

One focused sideline screen: choose the teams, tap kickoff, and track goals, cards and the match clock as the game happens. The score and clock stay glanceable on your iPhone Lock Screen, so the phone can stay in your pocket.

Sharing is the part that gives the app its name. You share one game code, and parents, friends and teammates follow the live score, clock and match timeline from wherever they are. A shared follow link can even open a lightweight App Clip, so someone without the app installed can still watch the game live. When the final whistle goes, the match summary is ready to send.

Choices I care about

Two things drive every ScoreShare decision. First: the app has to be as simple as possible in use. A match doesn't pause while you hunt for the right button, so keeping score has to work in seconds, one-handed, mid-cheer. Second: nobody should have to ask "what's the score?"—not in the group chat, and not standing next to you at the sideline either. Everyone follows along on their own phone, with real-time updates right on the Lock Screen.

Privacy is handled the same practical way: games stay on your device unless you share one, a shared game is a private link, and there's no account or registration. Details in the ScoreShare privacy policy.
